Mission Statement:
The mission of the African American Alumni Organization is to assist Penn State University in the recruitment and retention of African American students, faculty, and staff; to encourage and support the educational and career opportunities for African American students; to assist in the provision of financial support to African American students; to provide means by which African American alumni may be involved in the affairs of the University; and to foster a sense of pride in, and a commitment to, the university while enhancing its reputation and prestige.
